Is Hotel Sporting directly on the beach?
Yes. Hotel Sporting enjoys a prime seafront location. Simply cross the pedestrian promenade to reach the beach in just a few moments.
Is Hotel Sporting close to the Rimini Conference Centre (Palacongressi)?
Yes. The Palacongressi di Rimini is approximately 3 km from the hotel and can be reached within a few minutes by car or taxi. Its convenient location makes Hotel Sporting a popular choice for business travellers attending conferences and corporate events.
How far is Rimini Expo Centre (Rimini Fiera)?
Rimini Expo Centre is approximately 5 km from Hotel Sporting and can be reached in around 10–15 minutes by car or by train via Rimini railway station.
How far is the hotel from Rimini Railway Station? And from Rimini Airport?
Rimini railway station is just 1 km from the hotel and can easily be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, or by taxi or public bus. Federico Fellini international airport is approximately 7 km from Hotel Sporting.
Is Hotel Sporting close to Rimini's historic centre?
Yes. Rimini's historic centre is approximately 1.5 km from the hotel and can easily be reached on foot, by public transport or by taxi. There you can discover Roman monuments, charming squares, museums and many of the city's most important landmarks.

Where can I park my car? Does the hotel offer parking?
Yes. We offer several parking options at different rates to suit your needs. You can choose between our on-site monitored car park, a private garage located close to the hotel, or a reserved parking area approximately 500 metres away. For more information, please visit our parking page.
Is it easy to stay at Hotel Sporting without a car?
Absolutely. Hotel Sporting is located in Marina Centro, directly on Rimini's pedestrian seafront promenade, the Parco del Mare. The beach, restaurants, shops, the historic centre and Rimini Railway Station are all within easy walking distance, making a car unnecessary during your stay.
Does the hotel have a lift?
Yes. Hotel Sporting features four lifts providing easy access from the lobby to the restaurant, meeting rooms and guest room floors. All floors can also be reached via the staircases.
Does Hotel Sporting have a swimming pool?
Yes. The hotel features a heated outdoor swimming pool, one of the largest in Rimini, measuring 16 × 8 metres. The pool area includes sun loungers, umbrellas and a pool bar serving cocktails and light snacks. Does the hotel have a private beach or agreement with a beach club?
Yes. Hotel Sporting has its own private beach (Bagno 32 La Fenice) located just a short walk from the hotel. We also have an agreement with the beach establishment directly opposite the property. Can I rent beach towels?
Yes. Beach towels are available to rent for €3 per towel, per day.
Rooms
What is the difference between the room types? Does Hotel Sporting offer sea-view rooms?
Our rooms vary in terms of size, furnishings, views, location within the hotel and included amenities. Several room categories, as well as our Suites, offer stunning front sea views. For more information, please visit our rooms page.
Do the rooms have a balcony? Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. All rooms at Hotel Sporting feature a private furnished balcony, air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi, available throughout the hotel.
Do the rooms have carpet/moquette?
No. Almost all rooms at Hotel Sporting feature hard flooring. The only remaining room category with carpeting is scheduled for refurbishment, and the carpet will be removed by 2027.
How large are the rooms?
Room sizes are consistent within each room category. As part of our ongoing refurbishment programme, both guest rooms and bathrooms are being renovated. By 2027, all bathrooms will feature modern walk-in showers
Restaurant
Is breakfast included?
Yes. All rates at Hotel Sporting include our breakfast buffet, featuring a wide selection of sweet and savoury options, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free choices. Your booking confirmation will always specify the services included in your stay. In addition to the buffet, a selection of à la carte breakfast dishes is available on request.
How do Half Board and Full Board work?
Hotel Sporting's restaurant offers an extensive buffet featuring starters, pasta and main courses, side dishes, fresh vegetables and desserts. To ensure the highest quality of service during busy periods, lunch and dinner may be served in two dining sittings. Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, drinks are not included
Can I add lunch or dinner if meals are not included in my booking?
Yes. Subject to availability, you can add lunch or dinner during your stay by contacting our reception Team.
Are vegetarian, gluten-free or special dietary options available?
Yes. Our buffet always includes vegetarian dishes and a selection of naturally gluten-free options. If you have food allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and our team will do its best to accommodate your needs. Please note that we do not have a dedicated allergen-free kitchen, therefore we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination

Is Hotel Sporting open all year round?
Yes. Hotel Sporting welcomes guests throughout the year and is an ideal choice for both leisure and business stays in Rimini. During the summer season, guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, the private beach and a full programme of entertainment. Throughout the rest of the year, the hotel's location makes it an excellent base for business trips, conferences at the Rimini Conference Centre, trade fairs at Rimini Expo Centre, and city breaks.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Small dogs are welcome at Hotel Sporting for a supplement of €30 per day. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted in the hotel's public areas, including the restaurant and the outdoor swimming pool. Please note that Executive rooms and Suites are not suitable for pets, and cats are not permitted.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival, while check-out is by 10:00 am on the day of departure. You are welcome to enjoy the services included in your booking, such as the beach or lunch, even if your room is not yet ready. Subject to availability, you may also request a late check-out and keep your room until later in the day.
Is Hotel Sporting a good choice for families?
Absolutely. Hotel Sporting is especially popular with families thanks to its seafront location in Marina Centro, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and many of Rimini's main attractions. During the summer season and major holidays, families can also enjoy children's entertainment, a heated outdoor swimming pool and family rooms, making every stay comfortable and enjoyable for guests of all ages.
